When is SWOT Assessment Report used?

in Creating Strategy Blueprint
phase for the context of this template.
The template is used after Information
Gathering & Assessment is complete. The combination of
External Information Assessment Report
and Internal Information Assessment Report
will carry details which
are relevant for SWOT. The SWOT template filters out and structures
the final SWOT, which one should consider for strategy formulation.
Why is it used?
Strategy blue-printing process has
a challenge to gradually filter out the information and thinking
so to stay focused while being open to all observations. SWOT in
one way is a focused combination of the strategic thinking which
has emerged so far and the information assessment done.
How is it used?
Every organization has a different
way of wording and presenting its strategic thinking. This template
contains the notes on how to use as well as an example to illustrate.
One may create one's own way, while considering the components presented
in the template.
TIP-Don't consider it as a document
which just covers the SWOT. This document should reflect the entire
strategy thinking as well as the relevant information which has
come-out so far. |
