Business scorecard review can be typically with monthly frequency

One month is fair time people need to work on the takeaways of a performance review session. If you are having a scorecard review once every week, take a re-look on its effectiveness. It might as well be a dash-board or "current state" or operational review.

This does not mean that you cannot have any interim business. As mentioned somewhere else in the Execution-MiH.com, the dash-board review is typically associated with operational review, which is more focused on specific operational and immediate issues to keep the shop running. The scorecard or business review, is more holistic and tries to address the immediate, medium and long term goals. A dashboard review can be done with any frequency starting from daily ( or sometimes even shorter frequency) as the actions you take with a dashboard review can show the results pretty quickly. For example, you may look at the input inventory state being red in the dash-board, resulting in immediate shipments to your factory, which will result in the indicating turning green the next day.

However in case of scorecard, if you see the sales performance in a given office being red, the action could be to provide more intense training to your sales force, which may take some weeks and months to take effect.
