Data Quality Tools Integration |
Data quality is generally part of a bigger operation and initiative. It needs to be open and should be possible to integrate with a wide set of tools through open application interface and data exchange standards.

Integration
Unlike data Integration and BI Tools, which are complete in their own right, the DQ tools always form a part of a larger tool-group, when it comes to executing a project or to manage operations. Therefore a good and transparent integration is key.
The integration runs at various levels like:
- Ability embed data quality routines in other programs
- Calling data quality routines through SOA and web services
- Ability for a tool set to invoke DQ routines through custom exits.
- The DQ tool central management can be done through a 3rd party management console.
- The DQ tool itself be able to call off the shelf programs for doing the DQ tasks, which are not available with the tool itself.
- The DQ reports can be integrated with the publishing platform of a large tool-set.
