This phase focuses on analyzing BI maturity in terms of strategy and execution. The objective of this phase is to understand the existing delivery and process models and define factors necessary for BICC success.
This phase expects that the Executive Sponsor be identified for Enterprise BI initiative. BICC requirements are evaluated with the help of comprehensive checklist that will help identifying any gap with regard to the initiative being taken up. This evaluation will be carried out after discussions/interviews with key associates like Business Users, sponsors, Program Managers, BI Architects, Support Team lead, Development team lead, etc.
