Business Intelligence Competency Centre Setup- Overview

Business Intelligence Competency Centre has three phases- Strategize, Establish and Operate. A BICC evolves over time and it needs to be customized as per the organization needs and readiness.

This page is an extract from BIDS BICC Solution authored by Kamlesh Mhashilkar-Head, Execution-MiH Services of Tata Consultancy Services

For setting up a Competency Centre, 3-phased approach can be taken as given below.

BICC-strategize, establish and operate phase

The approach details the ETVX (Entry, Tasks, Validation and Exit) criteria for each of its phases. The ETVX criteria enable the approach to become flexible and customizable, and therefore applicable across entry points of engagement, while maintaining the overall rigor.
